IF YOU FEEL SOMETHING IN THE BREAST
You know your own body best. Regardless of your age and complaint, if you feel something unprecedented in your breast, I suggest you go to a general surgeon for examination. Most likely, your complaints are benign and depend on minor reasons. But we doctors often, when we evaluate these small complaints, come across a lot of problems for your future and early stage breast cancer. The priority is to determine whether the peculiarity felt in the breast is related to cancer or to a tissue that is going to become cancer. Breast pain often occurs in benign circumstances. But rarely, you know, it’s caused by cancer.
Breast cancer is often characterized by a painless feeling of mass. Some patients don’t care because the mass hardens very slowly over time. But it’s a very critical mistake not to care about this mass cancer. An apparent sensation of mass in the breast is always abnormal. It is probably benign, but it’s never normal and requires a doctor to go.
It’s always abnormal to have spontaneously discarge from nipple and it requires a doctor visit. The outflows from the nipple, especially blood and water, may related small cancer or a pre-carcinogenic lesion.
The ulcer over nipple-areola complex may be caused by a particular type of cancer called Paget’s disease. Especially a one-sided ulcerative nipple problems require a doctor’s visit.
